Rio Transport which was founded in Aotearoa, New Zealand by husband-and-wife duo Alex and Keziah Nascimento. Alex is a proud Brazilian, born and raised in Rio De Janeiro and moved to Aotearoa, NZ in 2015. Keziah is of African American and Māori, Pākehā descent, she was raised in Christchurch and moved to Auckland in 2015. 

Rio Movers is a division of Rio Transport based in Auckland which specialises in a comprehensive range of services from house packing, exit cleaning, end of tenancy clean, furniture removalists, Auckland house moving, and business relocation. You can hire a truck and two or more of our expertly trained staff to do the job.

Fantastic company and people to deal with. The removal team were very efficient, took great care of our furniture, and the collection and (long-distance) delivery was as per arrangements. Their rate for the job was very reasonable. We highly recommend Rio Movers.

Solid effort by the team in moving my stuff. I’ve used a number of movers in the past but there has always been some kind of issue. Not so with Rio. Great communication and quick service.

Highly recommend! The team that came to move my house were amazing! Even with the inconvenience of the driveway being blocked for abit they worked with it only 3 days before Christmas they done amazing and my family were able to enjoy Christmas in there home couldn’t be happier thank yous so much

These guys are awesome. I moved from a property with poor access – nothing was too much for them. Worked with a positive attitude and sense of humour. Worked tirelessly too, to get the job done. Job completed in really good time. Moving is so stressful but with Rio Movers you’re in excellent hands.

Rio movers were great! I had contacted numerous removal companies to assist us with packing and moving of our furniture and household goods. Keziah was professional and left me confident in knowing our belongings were going to be handled with care. They did not disappoint! The guys were professional, efficient and friendly! Very glad I made the decision to go with Rio Movers! I will definitely will be using them again! Highly recommend!
